nac High-Speed HD Camera continues to receive accolades

The nac Hi-Motion HD camera system has won yet another Golden Podium Award at this year’s Sportel convention in Monaco. The high speed HD Camera system was provided by nac UK distribution partner, ARRI Media, to director Achim Hammer of ZDF for his winning clip of pole vaulter Steven Hooker clearing 5.90m to win the gold medal at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin. Michael Amsinck of ZDF noted, “One of the best decisions our chief director Achim Hammer made was to choose the Hi-Motion for the 2009 IAAF World Athletics Championships.” Click here for the ARRI Media release for more detail…

History Channel "Lock N’ Load with R. Lee Ermey" episodes feature nac Memrecam GX-1

Incredible new summer 2009 Lock N’ Load episodes with R. Lee Ermey on the History Channel beginning July 26 feature a variety of applications including:

Machine Guns
Gunny checks out the rapid fire, lead spitting destruction of the machine gun. From an authentic hand cranking 1890's Gatling Gun to one of the fastest machine guns on the planet today--the Mini Gun--Gunny rat a tat tats his way through machine gun history while high-speed photography captures the exploding targets in incredible slow motion

Gunny takes a journey through the history of cannons and field artillery and shoots off everything from Revolutionary War-era cannonballs to the futuristic shells of NLOS-C -- a fully automated piece of artillery that's so new the Army's still testing it. Other featured artillery includes Civil War cannons and the Pack 75 Howitzer, a World War II cannon used in the Battle of the Bulge.

Gunny takes a ride through history in the rolling thunder that is the tank. From the world's only fully operational WWI tank to the state of the art M1A1 Abrams--Gunny drives them and shoots them as special high-speed photography captures the exploding targets in incredible slow motion.

Gunny pulls the trigger on pistols--and takes aim at handgun history with vintage flintlock dueling pistols to modern day, rapid firing machine pistols. Amazing high-speed photography captures multiple ballistics tests designed to observe the course of a bullet's flight and its impact.

nac Image Technology will introduce the new EMR-9 at the upcoming Vision Sciences Society (VSS) Annual Conference in Naples, Florida May 8 – 13, 2009. The EMR-9 is the latest development in eye movement measurement and analysis systems - it is a truly mobile system that offers significant reduction in size and weight over traditional eye measurement systems. This allows the subject to move freely and unencumbered in their natural environment. The EMR-9 records data to a compact SD memory card that can then transfer the data to a PC where detailed statistical analysis can occur using our optional software analysis package.
